Current issues: Marxist MPLA troops invaded Cabinda via Point Noire in 11 November 1975. Cabinda was a Portuguese Protectorate since the signing of the Treaty of Simulambuco in 1885, and became known as the Portuguese Congo. Marxist MPLA troops from Angola are still occupying Cabinda. The American Oil Company Chevron is participating along side the invaders in raping and murdering the Cabindan people.
